Pleated

I finally got my featherwale courderoy pleated. It pleated very well, although I am glad that I didnt' try a bishop first. I can just imagine how hard it would be to get seams through the pleater bars.

This is the first time I used my Dr. Joe Pleater. I'm very happy with it. I can't wait to pleat up a whole bodice...shoulder to waist. I've never had a pleater big enough to do that and I was sooooo not interested in running the bodice through twice.

I'll be blocking it in the next evening or two and then get cranking on it.

Here is a little bishop that I also pleated up. I think I want to do this with some pink boullion roses. We'll see....I might change my mind.
And last but not least...here is a picture of the Tater Tot at her first visit to the dentist. She wasn't too happy about them sticking that thing in her mouth...can you tell? lol

What a cutie. My daughter was nicnamed tatertot, too, since her name was Tatum. It's cute and it stuck.

Oh...another Tater Tot! That's too cute! I wonder if it will stick with our Taylor, too?

I really know nothing about smocking, but would so love to learn.
